The Wollongong Undergraduate Students’ Association is the peak student representative body of the University of Wollongong. WUSA provides a number of services to it’s members and to all students at the university, including welfare initiatives.
The Wollongong Undergraduate Students’ Association is the peak student representative body of the University of Wollongong. WUSA provides a number of services to it’s members and to all students at the university, including welfare initiatives. A number of collectives are supported by WUSA and work with WUSA to advocate for student’s on issues important to their education and welfare. WUSA also runs a number of events throughout the year that are open to the whole student body to attend.
In 2013 WUSA will be running a free breakfast initiative as well as providing cheap food, drinks and printing to students. WUSA will also run fortnightly BBQs that are free to members and at minimal cost to other students. The WUSA Bookbank, which will be launched in coming weeks will give students a chance to sell their old textbooks to other students, and give students the option of buying textbooks at a largely reduced price to Unishop.
WUSA membership gives students cheaper food and drink products, 10 free pages of printing per day, free entry to events and a free BBQ every fortnight.
The WUSA space can be found in the bottom of building 19 along with the women’s space and queer space.
